So after the win at AB, the week before darkness had turned to light and two wins from two would in all likelihood see Frem promoted. We all know where this is going.
Frem dominated the first half with the away keeper making a handful of saves and Frem looping a header against the crossbar. Going in two goals up would not have been unfair. Frem continued to press in the second half before Thisted (with their own promotion hopes) scrambled one in on the counter with just 15 minutes remaining.
Frem went gung ho. Throwing up a centre back and the inevitable second and then third happened. In injury time, Frem still managed to win and miss a penalty before scoring from distance. 3-1. That really is it, isn’t it?

After the Braband game, it all felt over and despite the brief respite of the win against AB, you always feel that this young Frem team still lack the consistency to win winnable games. It comes down to taking chances and Frem have not scored or killed off games when the opportunity was there.
It is not always cloudy in Copenhagen
Still, if Braband and Bronshoj draw and Thisted beat Nykobing and Frem win by about seven, then promotion is ours. On to the final game of the season and a trip to the ever beautiful sounding Hvidovre.
Not my greatest photo. Nice gesture though.
